Ateema Media & Marketing To Take Hospitality & Tourism Summit Online

Event To Span a Week & Include Trade Show, Networking & Multiple Educational Sessions

Chicago, IL, June 25th, 2020 – Ateema Media & Marketing, the producers of Concierge Preferred Magazine and Planner Master Class announced that they are rescheduling the Hospitality & Tourism Summit Chicago  and moving to an online format this year. 

Typically held in April at Navy Pier’s Crystal Gardens, the Hospitality & Tourism Summit is being moved online this year to accommodate occupancy and safety issues tied to COVID-19. The program will be extended beyond just one day to include a full week of educational programming, virtual networking events, and the virtual trade show. Specific dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

The hospitality, tourism, meetings and events industries have been heavily impacted by the shelter-at-home order which has fragmented business networks for months. Furloughs and staff reductions have dramatically changed the faces and representatives of businesses. The lack of in-person events and tours has limited sales and business development opportunities. Major changes in the industry and specific businesses have altered the landscape causing new trends, opportunities and knowledge gaps as industry professionals try to stay up to date.
